Jail-based MAT Mentor Sites

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is pleased to announce the creation of the Jail-based Medication-assisted Treatment (MAT) Mentor Site Initiative, which offers a unique opportunity for jails interested in providing or enhancing their MAT services to observe and learn from innovative and experienced programs that have demonstrated success in meeting the treatment needs of individuals with substance use disorders. Multiple programs, representing diverse settings across the nation, were selected to serve as mentor sites.

BJA anticipates that each mentor site will host approximately two to three mentee sites per year. The Jail-based MAT Mentor Site Initiative is part of the training and technical assistance (TTA) available through the Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Use Program (COSSUP).

To apply to be a mentee, submit all application components via the online application here: http://s.iir.com/X8yhNRdH.

If needed, a PDF copy of the application questions can be accessed at http://s.iir.com/ykrxdzYQ.

Mentee applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Should you have any questions about the application process or issues with submission, please email info@cossup.org.
